Each pair is laser-cut, which gently burns the edges and gives a striking dark outline that frames your artwork. First, the back is treated with a protective wood sealer that enriches the natural grain. The front is then sprayed with a soft, frosted off-white coating to create a smooth matte base.
We print your design on top using a specialist heat-press technique and eco-friendly inks, locking vibrant colour into the wood fibres. Pure white cannot be reproduced, so stronger shades provide the best definition and result in a warm, creamy overlay for a gorgeous earthy finish.
Finally, our jewellery artisans attach sterling-silver hook wires, jump rings, bead and loop, ensuring your customised wooden dangle earrings move freely and feel comfortable all day long.
Keep the earring shape in mind when you upload your image. For triangles and cut-out circles, position your artwork so that no important details are lost. Repeat patterns work particularly well on the cut-out style, while centred photos look best on the other shapes.
