Years of experience crafting personalised shoes have given us the tools we need to create a stunning pair of wedges. The process starts with our stylish and vintage feel linen-like canvas. This breathable and airy fabric is used to create the exterior of your shoes. Once you have designed all six areas of (each) of your shoes, technicians print your photos into the fibres of the canvas. This locks in the ink and creates a lasting print that will not rub off or peel over time. Once printed, your heels are cut and stitched to perfection. You can opt for the natural or black finish, which includes the trims, laces, binding, lining and eyelets. When you select the black finish, the lining of the shoe will remain natural. We line the wedges with cooling cotton drill and for the insole there are two choices - printed fabric or unprinted leather. For a totally vegan shoe, please select the fabric option. Once the shoes have been cut, stitched and shaped, they are bonded and sewn onto the natural jute wedge. The soles of the shoes have been specially made for us in Spain, giving your wedges even more cool factor.

The finished look is one of a classic espadrille wedge with a contemporary twist. The lace-up detail is fresh and youthful and the inclusion of your photos and designs helps turn these shoes into a real style statement.

Design six areas per shoe

You can design your espadrilles in several areas, which means your photos will cover the entire body of the shoe. It is important to consider the style of the shoe when uploading your photos. For example, key details should be kept as centred as possible and away from the edge. This way, they will not get incorporated into the stitching. It is also important to consider the eyelets when uploading your design, as these could take away details if printed in the same area. The wedge of your espadrille is made from natural jute, so think about what colours would work best to complement this. As you can print on the tongue, remember that the laces will cover a portion of it up, so perhaps stick to a pattern or block colour for the tongue. Logos or a message work great for printing on the inside of the tongue. 

Create a shoe with a lot of personality. These espadrilles can be personalised in several areas, so make sure you take full advantage. A mix of photos and designs look particularly good on your new wedges. Try uploading a favourite photo onto the main body of the shoe and then a complementary design onto the toes.
