Wash at 30°c, low tumble dry heat, hang to dry, do not wring, low heat iron.
Personalised swim shorts are made from a breathable waterproof fabric. This is a poly fabric that has a PU coating on one side which makes it resistant to water and wetting. It is also extremely quick-drying as well as being very breathable. This means that while it stops the water getting in, it also allows perspiration to evaporate as well as keeps you cool.
When you make your own swim shorts with our online design tool, you can choose not only the size - which ranges from 2XS to 4XL - but also the trim colour. With a choice of black and white, this feature changes the colour of the stitching thread and the drawstring. It also changes the colour of the metal eyelets that the drawstring protrudes from, a silver colour with the white option and with the black, gunmetal colour.

Measure around your natural waistline - which is the soft squidgy part just under your ribs.
Measure around the fullest part (across buttocks).Before we do anything, your print is checked by our super-smart system. This ensures that the photos that you have used are of a high enough quality and that everything will come out right during the printing process. If there are any concerns they will have been flagged to you in the design tool, by showing an exclamation mark in a triangle, with a short description of the problem. If there are any issues it is flagged to our team who will contact you to discuss. Please note that they will only be passed the design if there is a problem with images, for example, resolution, so if you have added text, you need to ensure that everything is spelt and positioned correctly.
Once passed to our technicians, they will prints your photo, collage or design directly onto the breathable waterproof fabric. The reason that we do this first is to ensure that your personalised swim shorts are printed edge to edge. We use eco-friendly inks, and printing methods which bond these deep into the fibres of the fabric, so you don't have any shiny surface where the print is, and if cared for correctly, your prints should last a lifetime.
When your photo swim shorts fabric is ready, one of our craftsmen will cut the material to the correct size and shape, which is then passed on to our expert seamstresses to sew together and produce your finished personalised swim shorts. When everything is all finished, your swim shorts will be taken to our quality department, who make sure that everything is just right before it goes to shipping to be sent off to you. All this is done with a great turnaround in our London studios.
There are so many amazing things that you can do when you make your own swim shorts, or as personalised photo gifts for someone you know, but as you can design the front and back of each the right and left leg separately, we really love the idea of contrast or complement.
Use a photo on one side and then choose a colour which matches the design to have a bold block of it on the other leg. You could also use a completely contrasting colour rather than a complementary one to really make your personalised swim shorts eye-catching.
Another design we love is to have one enlarged photo on the one side, and then a photo collage on the other. This is a whole new unique take on the contrast or complement design but it works really well.
