For Your Safety: Inner layer is a BS standard fire rated material - BS EN 60598 - 1:2008 650 Glow wire test (clause 13.3.2) only. For the smaller sizes - 20cm round and oval - the maximum wattage is the 40w bulb. For all other sizes, use 60w-100w bulbs but we recommend cool energy saving bulbs for all our lampshades.
All lampshades are made by hand. Your photos or design are printed onto our Stiff Translucent fabric and then backed with a fire rated lining. Edge-to-edge printing all over with a white painted metal frame at the top or bottom depending on whether it's a ceiling or table lamp shade. Your prints are vibrant and detailed, with fade-resistant qualities so you can enjoy your gorgeous shade for years to come.
Handy Tip: The design of your custom lamp shades is printed onto a single piece of fabric which is then wrapped around to made the circular shape. When choosing your images, consider where your lampshade will be positioned. Photo collages mean you'll be able to see a beautiful photo from every angle. Alternatively, a glorious wide shot image or panorama with features all around will also look great.
Photo collages are a popular choice because they really stand out and make an impression. Simply select more than one photo, add them to the design and choose your montage style in our design tool. Because the print is wrapped around the lampshade, we suggest going for the scattered style so the photos are the best quality and the lamp is customised all the way around.
